Serving isn’t about filling a spot; it’s about using the gifts that God has given you to love others, build community, and share the hope of Jesus in practical ways. Whether your strengths are behind the scenes or front and center, there’s a place for you to make a meaningful difference.
When you serve, you become part of what God is doing in and through our church. It’s a simple step that helps others feel welcomed, supported, and cared for - and it often becomes a place where friendships grow and faith deepens. We’d love for you to find a place to serve and take that next step with us.

Serve With Us!
Serving is one of the ways we live out our faith and love others well. At Reidsville Christian, there are ongoing opportunities to serve within the church as well as one-time opportunities that arise throughout the year. Whether you’re looking for a regular place to plug in or a short-term way to help when needs arise, this is where you’ll find current service opportunities listed. Each opportunity is a chance to use your gifts, care for others, and be part of what God is doing in our church and community.
L.O.T. 2540
Serve our community in a practical, meaningful way by volunteering at one of L.O.T. 2540’s Mobile Markets. These markets provide fresh food and support to neighbors in need, and volunteers play a vital role in welcoming guests, distributing food, and showing the love of Christ through simple acts of kindness. Whether you can help regularly or just once, your time makes a real difference. Join us as we serve together and meet tangible needs with compassion and care for the "Least Of These."
Shiloh Community
1st Saturday (Mthly)
Stoneville Elementary School
(103 Stone St., Stoneville)
The Shiloh Community Market meets on the first Saturday of each month in front of Stoneville Elementary School (please park at L.O.T., 103 Stone St., Stoneville). Our church helps host the market six times each year, serving neighbors with fresh food, hospitality, and care. In 2025, the market served 785 families and distributed 59,011 pounds of food, meeting real needs in our community.
In 2026, our hosting dates are Jan 3, Mar 7, May 2, Jul 10, Sep 5, and Nov 7. Volunteers meet at 9:00 a.m. for set-up (or ride the church van, which leaves at 8:30 AM), and the market runs from 10:00–11:30 AM.

Circle Drive
3rd Friday (Mthly)
Baptist Temple Parking Lot
(729 Wentworth St.)
We partner with a coalition of local churches to serve at the Circle Drive Market, which takes place monthly. As part of this shared effort, our church family serves three times each year, providing fresh food, hospitality, and care in practical ways. In 2025, the market served 656 households and distributed 49,849 pounds of food, meeting real needs with dignity and compassion.
In 2026, our hosting dates are April 17, August 21, and December 17. Volunteers meet at 2 PM for set-up, and the market runs from 3-5 PM.
Whether you’ve served before or are joining for the first time, we invite you to be part of this collective effort to love our neighbors well.

Blessings Box
Located on the roadside to the right of the church, the Blessings Box is a simple way we care for our neighbors in need. It’s available anytime for those who could use a little help. Our Kids Ministry lovingly fills and maintains the box, with our K–5th graders helping care for and restock supplies throughout the year.
You can be part of this ministry by donating items to keep the box stocked. Suggested donations include: ramen noodles, instant coffee or tea, oatmeal packs, mashed potato packs, canned foods with pop tops, snack bars, chips, water or juice bottles, hygiene products, and baby items.
Your generosity helps meet practical needs and reminds others they are seen, cared for, and loved.

Operation Christmas Child
For more than 25 years, Operation Christmas Child has been a meaningful part of our church’s mission to share the love of Jesus with children around the world. Through this ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, shoebox gifts filled with small toys, school supplies, and hygiene items are delivered to children in need—often opening the door for the gospel to be shared in places where it might not otherwise be heard.
Reidsville Christian serves as the Collection Center for Rockingham County, which means there are many ways to be involved beyond packing a shoebox. During National Collection Week - the Monday through Sunday before Thanksgiving (Nov 16-22, 2026) - volunteers help receive, organize, and prepare thousands of boxes for shipment. This ministry has been faithfully led for many years by Daniel and Dustin McCall, and they would love to help you find a place to serve. Reach out to get involved and be part of a ministry that brings hope, joy, and the message of Jesus to children across the globe.
